Don’t you adore a good love story? You know, the kind that make your heart race. Hi, I’m Lysa TerKeurst for Proverbs 31 Ministries. I love stories where there’s an attraction between a man and woman, but circumstances pull them apart. Then, they come together at the end with a kiss sealing the deal for a lifetime. Why do these stories move us? Because God designed our hearts for an eternal love story. But, sometimes we lose sight of it and serve God out of duty, not delight. He becomes just another thing on our never ending to-do list. His life-giving principles get reduced to another set of rules we have to follow. Trying to spend time with God becomes another source of guilt and stress. So how do we capture the eternal love our souls were designed for?
