However, there are a lot of young women today who have those expectations of marriage. They’re anxiously awaiting Prince Charming to sweep them off their feet and throw all their cares away. Sadly, this can lead to unrealistic expectations and troubled marriages. So how can you help the next generation of wives prepare for the realities of marriage? A great way to start is to simply be a friend. There are plenty of young women in your workplace, community or church who would love to have an older female friend who’ll share her life-experience and wisdom.
