Are you a Christian woman married to a non-Christian man? Hi, I’m Lysa TerKeurst for Proverbs 31 Ministries. Many women start a relationship with Jesus after they’re married and are discouraged when they share their faith with their spouse only to discover he doesn’t find it quite as exciting as they do. So how do you deal with this situation?
The Bible tells us how to interact with a husband who’s not a Christian. It says, “Wives, in the same way, be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them don’t believe, they may be won over without words, by the behavior of their wives.”
Loving and respecting a man who doesn’t believe the same way you do can be difficult and frightening. But the Bible says to do what’s right and to not give in to fear. God promises to protect the believing spouse. So, live a godly life in front of your husband and turn to Jesus for help when things get tough. For more ways to love your husband, visit Proverbs 31 Ministries at proverbs31.org.
