Do you ever feel like you’ve lost your way when it comes to following Jesus? Hi, I’m Lysa TerKeurst for Proverbs 31 Ministries. A friend was hiking recently when she came to a split in the trail. She couldn’t remember which way to go and ended up choosing the wrong road. After about 20 minutes, she realized she’d chosen a path that could lead her face to face with a hungry grizzly bear. So, she immediately turned around and retraced her steps.
Life is like that isn’t it? Sometimes we know the correct path to take, and take it. But sometimes the trails are unfamiliar and we have to guess. And still other times we know which path to follow but deliberately choose the wrong one. God’s Spirit acts as an internal radar that helps us choose the right paths in life and detects dangers along the way when we don’t. It also helps us have the wisdom to turn around immediately once we realize our mistakes. Are you living a life guided by God’s Holy Spirit? To find out how, visit proverbs31.org.
