Mommy will you read to me?”

Right now I’m looking at a load of laundry that would make Mt. Everest seem small. Hi I’m Lysa TerKeurst for Proverbs 31 Ministries. And don’t even get me started about the dishes that someone thought were clean and put away in the cabinet. There are phone calls to be returned and e-mails to check and I need to make an orthodontist appointment for my son. But there’s also a precious little blue eyed wonder standing beside the couch saying, “Mommy, will you read to me?” Too soon this little girl will be but a memory from the past. So, I think I’ll take just a few minutes in this midst of all this craziness and sit and read and invest in the wisest of all my choices. Oh Brooke, let’s sit on top of this laundry, pretend it is a castle way up on a hill and read about the adventures of a far away land.
