Some surprises just aren’t fun! Hi, I’m Renee Swope for Proverbs 31 Ministries.
The other day my friend found her three-year-old daughter playing in the middle of a huge pile of stuff that had been stored in a little basket on top of her dresser. Mom and Dad thought the basket was out of reach for someone who's only three feet tall. They didn’t know their curious pre-schooler had the climbing abilities of a little monkey.
She had pulled the basket and its contents down to the carpet and proceeded to rub Baby Vick's all over her adorable pink and white rug. Then she found those little baby nail scissors! What harm could those do? They can barely cut fingernails. Well, they're sharp enough to make tiny little slits up and down sheer, polka dotted curtains. My friend was so shocked at what she’d found that she didn’t know whether to cry or laugh!
