I watched the Olympic race in stunned amazement. How could this happen? Hi, I’m Renee Swope with Proverbs 31 Ministries. The world's top ranked woman tripped over the first hurdle and fell to the ground. Just one mistake, one misjudgment, and her chances of winning were over! Life is so much like a race and we need help to get over life’s hurdles. Our hurdles pop up at the most surprising and inconvenient times! The good news is – our hurdles don’t surprise God! The Bible tells us how to run the race God has marked out for us. We need to get rid of everything that hinders us and we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, not our hurdles! John Derby once said, "When we keep our eyes on Jesus, nothing is easier; when we are not looking at Him, nothing more impossible."
