“It’s time for Barbie to go!” Hi, I’m Renee Swope for Proverbs 31 Ministries and my friend Jill’s taking a stand against her daughter’s Barbie doll!
Now, she’s not banishing Barbie from her home, but she is banning her from the shower. Jill’s daughter, Alyssa, loves playing with Barbie in the bath tub. The problem is, after bath time all the toys get rinsed off and hung to dry. So, every time Jill steps into the shower, Barbie’s staring right at her.
Barbie…the very picture of physical perfection that is simply unattainable. That’s what she sees first thing in the morning. Well, since she just started taking steps toward getting healthy; Jill needs all the encouragement she can get. And, she decided that this icon of impossibility just isn’t cuttin’ it!
